Rehabilitation project of an apartment on the top floor of the Palais Beauséjour in Cannes. This 160 m² apartment has been fully renovated while preserving the soul of the place.
The exterior and interior wooden joinery has been carefully restored and renovated. Two openings have been recreated on the sea-facing façade — originally present but sealed off by the previous owners — bringing more light into the main room and opening up views over the Mediterranean and the Esterel mountains.
In the bathrooms and kitchen, new flooring in veined white marble has been laid, in octagonal tiles with black and blue cabochons, as well as in mosaic form in the bathrooms. The living areas have been fitted with solid oak flooring, laid in a herringbone-inspired pattern known as “pointe de Hongrie”.
The only contrast with the classic style: the kitchen and bathroom fittings, in a more contemporary style with clean, timeless lines.
